Stop swinging on your chair, young lady! Did I hear someone whispering? Stop that! Now turn to page 65. I do not allow gum in my classroom. What a filthy habit. Tuck in your shirt. And for god's sake, stop chewing on that pen! Well, no more biro chewing for us, we have something even better, a pen-pendant (hehe) made of sterling silver by the very talented people at Chewed By Tuesday. Nice nice nice and a little bit cheeky. Now behave yourselves and don't go smoking behind the boys toilet, now...

Ever wondered what it's like inside the studio of an expert crafter? Well wonder no-more. For two very special evenings, the doors of Melbourne's Nicolas Building will be open to the public as part of the Craft Cubed Festival. You can meet the talented creatives who work in the halls of this historic building and immerse yourselves in their wares. These craftspeople include jewellers, painters, printmakers, milliners, gold and silversmiths, textile designers, leather workers and many more. Hop along to 37 Swanston Street, Melbourne on August 19 and 20 to join the fun. More details over here.

With names like The Porcupine Pin, Honeycomb and Berry Drop, how could we not love these little delights by Miki and Nora. Visit her Etsy store and have a gander at her handmade jewellery collection, it sort of reminds us of a day spent foraging in the woods. Nice nice nice.

We love everything that the wonderful people at Craft Victoria in Melbourne do and this great event is no exception. This Thursday saw the kick off of the annual Craft Cubed Festival, which promises great events all over the city. One such even that we're pretty excited about is the Craft Hatch Market at The Atrium in Fed Square this Sunday, it will have a smorgasbord of emerging local talent for you to explore. Gather your pennies together and head along if you can make it. Check out everything else that's going on at the Craft Vic website.

Katy started an online store, and it's stolen our stationery obsessed hearts. The Katy Did Paper Goods Emporium is a Mecca for cute, clever cards, wrapping paper, notebooks as well as a stockist of some cool vintage finds, like this puppy puzzle. She also makes her own handmade gems as well as stocking cool stuff by others.
