Although Trotski & Ash sounds like some Russian revolution novel, it’s not. It’s actually a new blog from passionate cooks Sarah Trotter and Romy Ash (who has penned her lovely thoughts for frankie before). Their delightful selection of recipes so far includes a yummy cauliflower soup, apricot jam, honey joys and grandmother's famous fish pie. A delicious start to the day.

It has become common knowledge that breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day. But what is it that makes a good feed in the morning? Albert Comper knows what it is that gets your tastebuds running, bottoms feeling comfy, mind ready for the day ahead with a stimulating read, and the brekkie beverage that’s sure to give you that morning hit that so many of us need. His new project Breakfast Out reviews the brekkie ‘it’ spots in and around the southern city. Whatever your tummy, bottom or mind desires in the morning, it’s a safe bet to head to www.breakfastout.com.au first to find the epitome of the meal of the day. Only in Melbourne at the moment, but soon we could get the low-down on Sydney brekkies and other cities too.
