You might remember a giveaway we did a little while ago for bespoke wool and  knitting construction packs by Nikki Gabriel. Well, she is back in town ladies and gentlemen, and will be taking part in a knitting construction workshop as part of the Sydney Design Festival this weekend from August 13. On August 16 the RSPCA are holding their annual cupcake day fundraiser to get together some much needed cash so they can keep doing all the great work we know them for. You can get involved by registering as a cupcake cook or even get into training as a cupcake eater and host your own cupcake party. Sydney-siders with a passion for literary greatness should get along to The Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday August 10 (that's tomorrow)! Kinokuniya is putting on a book presentation and signing of Bret Easton Ellis new novel, Imperial Bedrooms. Ellis is the man to thank for cult classics, The Rules of Attraction, American Psycho, The Informers, Glamorama, Lunar Park and his debut novel, Less Than Zero. We love everything that the wonderful people at Craft Victoria in Melbourne do and this great event is no exception. This Thursday saw the kick off of the annual Craft Cubed Festival, which promises great events all over the city.
