dip-dyed marshmallows
Don't go popping these treats on the end of a stick – they're far too lovely to be melted into a scorched glob in a bonfire.
Truth be told, this DIY is so simple that instructions aren't even necessary, but we thought it was such a nifty idea that we just had to share. Take plain white marshmallows, dip in food colouring mixed with water, allow to dry, then hey presto! You have a collection of perfectly pretty treats for your next afternoon tea.
By fiddling with the depth of colour and patterns the opportunities are pretty much endless, but we're quite partial to these geometric pastel versions dreamt up by Idlewife. Just don't go popping them on the end of a stick – these are sweets to be admired atop an equally delicious cake, not melted into a scorched glob in the ashes of a bonfire.
