National Advertising Manager – frankie press

We are seeking an experienced professional who, like our magazines and staff, is ‘at-the-top-of-their-game’. We want someone who is a pleasure to work with and can build amazing rapport with their team and clients alike. A proven ability to consistently deliver on sales targets goes without saying.

You will oversee the performance of the frankie press advertising team and the delivery of national print and digital budgets for frankie magazine and Smith Journal. As well as mentoring and guiding the team, you will be responsible for your own frankie magazine territory target that represents a major portion of the revenue. An understanding of the frankie and Smith Journal brands and market positions is definitely an advantage and will put you in a good position for this role.

Skills and experience required:
- Prior print and/or online media sales to agency and direct clients (7+ years)
- Team management
- Exceptional account and relationship management
- Excellent comprehension, presentation and selling skills
- Good admin and process management
- Effective solution finding and creativity
- A big fat book of contacts and solid relationships
- Budget setting, revenue and expense management
- Brand management awareness
- Excel, Word, Powerpoint

This is a full-time position, (with regular hours being M-F, 9-5) based in our Melbourne office. Start date is no later than, 1 December 2014 to allow for full handover. Salary will be based on experience and suitability to role.

We are growing our Melbourne based sales team and seeking a full-time Advertising Directories Sales Executive to spread frankie love into the advertising world. This is a rare opportunity to merge your profession with your passion and could be your next step to greatness!

This is a sales role whose main function is to look after our lovely ‘directory’ clients and source new business across print and digital platforms. The right candidate will be confident, forward thinking, possess strong organisational skills and have a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
